Accommodation
Ullswater House has five rooms in total - including a family room and a king sized room on the ground floor. Each room is en-suite (with showers), and have colour televisions and tea & coffee making facilities.
Pooley Bridge itself is a lovely village to visit. It has everything you'll need on your doorstep - a few shops, top quality pubs, and a tea room.
The village is situated where Lake Ullswater flows into the River Eamont - so you can wander along the lakeside in one direction, or along the river in the other. Either way, within a couple of minutes, the centre of the village turns into unspoilt countryside.
We serve an extensive breakfast each morning in our dining room.
Our breakfast table provides a choice of cereals, freshly prepared fruit salad, yoghurts, homemade bread, - not to mention a hearty full cooked English breakfast (using local produce, of course) or lighter options of smoked salmon with eggs.
Vegetarian and special dietary requirements are also catered for, please let us know on arrival.
